Love… Joules

March 10, 2014

Joules is a relatively new brand yet has become a very popular over the last few years, with shops and concessions popping up wherever you look. Joules is an example of lifestyle brands and how their product range grows when people start to buy into the brand. Joules started with primarily clothing yet home ranges have now grown and people want to buy into this look. Their designs are fun, colourful and depicting of enjoyable country living. Functional yet in trend and fun, I can see why Joules is growing.

The Cox & Cox Christmas catalogue came through my door last week and I wanted everything in it! Their items are all simple but stunning and would create a lovely winter interior that is in touch with nature. Here are my favourite…

Love… Toast

September 6, 2012

September is now upon us and with the nights soon becoming shorter we are spending more time indoors. Soon, long gone will be our desire for summer trends and instead we will be replacing our flip flops for knitted socks. I came across Toast’s new Autumn/Winter 2012 collection and thought its new ‘Look book’ epitomised the comforting and homely look we will soon be falling for all over again when the days become colder and the autumn leaves start falling. There are some lovely new pieces in their House & Home collection, all of which have a real natural and homely feel with originality.

I was unaware of French Connection’s Homeware collection until a few days ago and I am very glad to have found it! The products are ideal for creating a laid back, relaxed interior that is timeless in design. A lot of the homewares would suit an industrial style interior or look perfect in a coastal home.

Love… Rowen & Wren

August 2, 2012

One of my favourite online brands in Rowen & Wren, and not just for the lovely home accessories but I can spend forever just looking at the images because of their photographic styling! Rowen & Wren provide a range of home accents that are suitable for both modern and classic interiors. I also like the idea behind the brand, of creating three collections to help you choose an interior theme, Refined Rural, Distant Home and my favourite Timeless Living. Here are my favourites…

Love… Emma Bridgewater

July 19, 2012

The other day my mum saved two Emma Bridgewater plates from being smashed in a school fate crockery smash and brought them home for me – from my favourite Pink Heart collection too! I have always dreamed of one day having a country home with a collection of Emma Bridgewater crockery in the kitchen and I am now kind of on my way to that dream…!  Emma Bridgewater is a company that designs kitchen products, all of which are handmade and hand painted. The wide range of collections is fitting to every taste and each one adds a touch of pattern to a kitchen. They are ideal for creating that true country kitchen look and decorating your dresser.

Love…Bone Inlay

July 4, 2012

Bone inlay home accessories have been updated with a contemporary twist these days and are proving to be a popular way of adding a touch of something special to an interior. They can add a hint of elegance or a splash of the exotic and can be mixed within a variety of home decor styles. I think they make beautiful pieces because of their hand-made and detailed qualities. Here are my favourite bone home furnishings products:

I have just found this ‘Paradise Throw’ from Also Home and love it! The cotton velvet throw would give your bed a new lease of life with its gorgeous design and bright colours, and better still it will still match most bed sheets. The floral and bird pattern is timeless and would sit perfectly in a boho-chic interior.

It has been a long time since the Baroque and Neo Classical styles, but when Philippe Starck designed the iconic Ghost Chairs for Kartell, he brought these traditional forms into modern day design. What I love about these chairs is how they are complimenting to near enough any interior, their durability and most of all, their elegance and stylishness. They are unique and timeless, making them an ideal piece of furniture for your home. They work effortlessly in both traditional and contemporary interiors or, in fact, any type of interior as these images below show…
