A visit to… Portugal
August 27, 2011
I have just come back from a holiday in the Algarve, Portugal and the beautiful surroundings and surface designs provided me with a lot of inspiration. Much of the patterns found on architectural and decoration elements of Portuguese buildings are similar to Moroccan designs and even the smallest details to the Portuguese tiles were attractive. Combining what I noticed from the Portuguese interiors, the influences and finds from this holiday I have produced a design scheme that could be transferred into a British home (or your holiday home!) to get that Portuguese look.

Thank you. I love the colours that can be found in Portuguese items. I really enjoyed looking at your site, a lot of really nice pottery pieces. Think that is my favourtie thing about Portugal.
